AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Tray Blackmon has gotten the green light to start playing football for Auburn again.
The NCAA has granted Blackmon a waiver after he didn't attend school during the spring semester.
Defensive coordinator Will Muschamp said Wednesday that Blackmon will begin preseason practice as the starting middle linebacker, The Huntsville Times reported yesterday on its Web site.
Blackmon, who will be a sophomore this season, was suspended for the first six games last season and for Auburn's 17-14 win over Nebraska in the Cotton Bowl. He dropped out of school in the spring to deal with personal issue. He returned for summer school.
