Gaspard Rejoins Crimson Tide Baseball Staff

NATCHITOCHES, La. (AP) - Mitch Gaspard, who ranks second on Northwestern State's baseball coaching wins list with 210 career victories, has resigned as head coach of the Demons to rejoin Jim Wells as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Alabama.

Gaspard, who spent seven seasons at Alabama prior to being named the head coach at NSU in 2002, compiled a 210-138 record in six seasons as the Demon skipper, an average of 35 wins a year.
