AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Auburn put a strong finishing touch on one
of the nation's top recruiting classes.
Defensive end Corey Lemonier and wide receiver Trovon Reed
announced their decisions to sign with the Tigers on Wednesday.
Lemonier was rated the nation's No. 3 weakside defensive end
prospect by Rivals.com and picked Auburn over Florida State. Reed
is a 5-star recruit according to Scout.com, which named him the
seventh-best receiver recruit.
His decision came down to Auburn and LSU.
Five Auburn signees - including quarterback Cameron Newton -
have already enrolled and count toward last year's signing class.
The Tigers' class was loaded with linemen and linebackers.
Offensive tackle Shon Coleman and defensive tackle Jeffery Whitaker
were among the other top signees.
