Groves Named to Hendricks Award Watch List

Auburn defensive end Quentin Groves is one 27 players named to the preseason watch list for the 2007 Ted Hendricks Defensive End of the Year award.

The senior from Greenville, Mississippi, tallied a team-leading 9-and-a-half sacks and 12 tackles for loss in 2006.

Groves also earned Coaches and Associated Press All-SEC first team honors. He was also named to the Bronco Nagurski Trophy watch list and the Chuck Bednarik Award watch list.
