Troy Summer Football Camp

While one Troy coach may have the opportunity to move on, another is showcasing his contributions to the game.

The Trojans' football team offensive coordinator, Tony Franklin, is in the middle of hosting a two-week camp for high school players and coaches from around the country who want to learn how to run the spread offense.

Franklin says this camp started as a side business about seven years ago, but it's grown every year.

In fact, over 1600 kids and their coaches from 26 states will make their way to Troy for this summer's instruction, which doesn't hurt come time to recruit some of these athletes in the next year or so.
