TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Alabama named Jeff Allen head football athletic trainer Monday and moved Rodney Brown from head athletic trainer to director of rehabilitation services for the athletic program.
Allen has been Central Florida's head athletic trainer since 2004 after holding the same position at Tennessee-Chattanooga. His primary responsibilities with the Crimson Tide will be the care and prevention of injuries for the football program.
Brown will be responsible for overseeing all physical rehab for Tide athletes in all sports.
He has been Alabama's head athletic trainer since 1999 after eight years as a part-time instructor in the training education program while also working as a manager in Druid City Hospital's Sports Medicine department.
