GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Florida Gator fans are quickly piecing together their broken hearts after reports that Billy Donovan wants to renew the love affair he ended last week.

Donovan, who bolted from Florida to sign a five-year, 27 and a half million-dollar contract Friday with the Orlando Magic, is trying to renege on the deal and come back.

And he won't have to crawl or beg.

Student Chris Andrews says he can't see anyone upset with Donovan at Florida, and that hopefully the coach will go back where he belongs winning championships.

Florida officials, including athletic director Jeremy Foley, have declined to comment because of pending legal issues Donovan has with the Orlando Magic.

While the administration waits for the mess to clear, studentsare sounding off. The football-loving school has also become basketball crazy in recent years - in large part to Donovan, whobuilt the program into a powerhouse, winning the last two national titles.
