ATLANTA (AP) - The Atlanta Falcons have signed free-agent offensive tackle Leander Jordan -- giving the team a chance to test the veteran at this week's mini-camp.
The 6-foot-4, 320-pound Jordan has played in 37 games, including 14 starts, with Carolina, Jacksonville and San Diego.
He spent the last three seasons with the Chargers and set a career high with nine starts in 2005 before missing last season following a neck injury in the preseason.
Jordan was a third-round pick by Carolina in 2000.
The Falcons' three-day mini-camp begins Friday.
