FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) - Former UAB player Kyle Bissinger signed a free agent contract with the New England Patriots.
Bissinger was one of seven free agents to sign with the Patriots Tuesday and is listed as a linebacker on the team's web site.
Bissinger came to UAB as a quarterback, moved to linebacker during the next spring drills and played defensive end.
He played in all 12 games last season and started the season opener at Oklahoma.
