AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Jess Todd struck out eight and walked just two to lead Arkansas to an 8-to-1 victory over Auburn Sunday to claim the series.
Todd (6-2) went the distance for Arkansas (35-12, 15-6 Southeastern Conference).
Auburn (28-19, 7-14 SEC) could only muster one run on six hits while Arkansas pounded out 17 hits for the win.
Arkansas roughed up Auburn starter Bryan Woodall (2-2) for seven runs on 13 hits and two walks in 5.2 innings and touching Austin Hubbard for one run on four hits in 3.1 innings.
