Falcons' 2007 Schedule Includes 3 National TV Games

ATLANTA (AP) - The Atlanta Falcons will face Carolina in their home opener, then welcome former backup quarterback Matt Schaub back to town one week later in their 2007 schedule.

The Falcons' home schedule includes games against four 2006 playoff teams: New York Giants, New Orleans, Indianapolis and Seattle.

The schedule includes three nationally televised games -- all in Atlanta. On October 15th, the Falcons will face the Giants in a Monday night game.

The Super Bowl champion Indianapolis Colts will visit the Georgia Dome for a Thanksgiving night game on November 22nd.

The Falcons return to Monday night football on December 10th when they host the Saints.

The Falcons open on September 9th at Minnesota and will play another road game on September 16th at Jacksonville, Those games are followed by the consecutive home games against Carolina and Houston. Schaub is set to be Houston's starting quarterback.

The Falcons have a bye week October 28th. They will wrap up the regular season December 30th at home against Seattle.
