ATLANTA (AP) - Tim Hudson and Jeff Francouer were the stars in Atlanta's 8-0 rout of Washington.
Hudson gave up three hits and struck out seven over seven innings to get to 1-0. He is the latest pitcher to beat the 1-7 Nationals, who haven't held a lead this season.
Francouer collected five R-B-Is with a three-run homer and a two-run double. Francouer also scored twice in the Braves' third consecutive win.
Andruw Jones homered against the Nats, who've been outscored 53-18 and have trailed by at least three runs in each of their first eight games.
Washington starter and loser Matt Chico gave up four runs and six hits in four and two-thirds, although three runs were unearned due to an error by second baseman Ronnie Belliard.
