TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - Florida State quarterback Christian
Ponder is expected to miss at least one game and possibly the next
of the season.
Ponder suffered a separated right shoulder late in Saturday's
40-24 defeat at Clemson when making a tackle after being
intercepted for the fourth time in the game.
Florida State sports medicine director Randy Oravetz said
doctors planned a further examination of Ponder's shoulder Monday
to evaluate the injury.
If Ponder is sidelined as expected, redshirt freshmen E.J.
Manuel would make his collegiate start at Wake Forest.
