Florida 10, Auburn 3

AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Matt LaPorta went four-for-four and hit two home runs to lead Florida to a ten to three victory over Auburn Sunday.

LaPorta drove in four runs and scored three as Florida (14-12, 4-2 Southeastern Conference) jumped out to a two to nothing first inning lead and cruised to an easy win.

David Hurst (1-0) surrendered just one hit in five innings in relief to get the win for the Gators.

Brian LeClerc and Clayton Pisani drove in two runs each for the Gators.

Starter Evan Crawford (3-2) was the losing pitcher for Auburn (18-9, 0-6).
