Vols Hope to Slow Down Tide's Ingram

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - The Tennessee Volunteers will try to
slow down tailback Mark Ingram and No. 1 Alabama.

The Crimson Tide (7-0, 4-0 Southeastern Conference) hosts the
Third Saturday in October rivalry on Saturday aiming to stay
perfect. The Volunteers (3-3, 1-2) are seeking to avoid a third
straight loss in the series.

This is the second time they played the No. 1 team in the nation in Lane Kiffin's first season. The first time, the Vols pushed current No. 2 Florida before losing 23-13 after plenty of offseason bickering.

Alabama jumped over the Gators just in time to give the Vols a second shot, following a 20-6 win over South Carolina.

Ingram has run for career highs in each of the past two games,
totalling 418 yards.
