Tar Heels, Seminoles meet Thursday night

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) - North Carolina and Florida State meet
Thursday night with both teams still looking for their first
Atlantic Coast Conference victories.

The Tar Heels (4-2, 0-2 ACC) are coming out of the bye week with
some confidence gained from a win against FCS team Georgia
Southern, but they still haven't solved all the offensive problems
that surfaced in losses to Georgia Tech and Virginia.

The Seminoles (2-4, 0-3), meanwhile, boast the league's top
offense and its worst defense. Considering North Carolina has the
league's worst offense and top defense, it sets up a matchup of
strength-vs.-strength and weakness-vs.-weakness.

It will also mark the first Thursday night home game in North
Carolina history.
