AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Auburn receiver Tim Hawthorne and several
friends were riding in a sport utility vehicle early Sunday morning
when the driver lost control along Interstate 85 near West Point,
Georgia.
The vehicle flipped several times killing a passenger.
Hawthorne sustained a cut above his lip and was left sore and
shaken.
He is expected to sit out practice this week and possibly
won't return before spring practice ends next week.
