AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - LSU running back Charles Scott, Alabama
linebacker Rolando McClain and Auburn kicker Wes Byrum were named
Southeastern Conference players of the week.
Scott rushed for a season-high 95 yards and scored two
touchdowns in the final three minutes in LSU's win at Georgia to
earn offensive honors.
Defensively, McClain had 12 tackles, an interception, a forced
fumble and a pass deflection that led to another pick in Alabama's
win at Kentucky.
Byrum kicked a career-high four field goals in Auburn's victory
The offensive lineman of the week was Mississippi tackle John Jerry. Defensive line honors went to Tenarius Wright of Arkansas.
Auburn freshman running back Onterio McCalebb was the top newcomer.
