Tigers Into Top 25 for First Time

AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - The Auburn Tigers leapt into the Top 25.

The Tigers made their season debut in the rankings Sunday at No.
17 after a 26-22 win at Tennessee Saturday night. They are 5-0
under first-year coach Gene Chizik.

The Tigers started last season in the Top 10, but stumbled to a
5-7 record. The No. 17 ranking is the highest they have been since
going into the Vanderbilt game ranked 13th last Oct. 4.

Auburn hasn't been ranked since last year's loss to Arkansas.
The Tigers visit Arkansas on Saturday.

The five wins matches Chizik's total in two seasons at Iowa State. He has Auburn 5-0 for the first time since 2006.
