TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - Tony Thomas hit a career-high three doubles to help Florida State beat Siena 22-to-3 Sunday afternoon.
Thomas scored once and had four hits in the game, including his doubles in the first, third and sixth innings.
Florida State (17-0) had a strong seventh inning at the plate. The Seminoles scored 15 runs and had 13 hits. Mark Hallberg, Ohmed Danesh and Mark Gildea - who opened the inning with a single to centerfield - all scored twice in the seventh.
Chris Klepps scored early for Siena (0-9) in the first inning. Rick Seltzer and Moises Rivera also scored for the Saints.
Michael Hyde (5-0) pitched six innings for the win. Siena's Andy Wells (0-2) picked up the loss.
