BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Katie King's 31 points and eight rebounds led Samson to a 73-to-59 victory over Reeltown in the Class 2A girls championship game.
The Tigers won their second consecutive state title.
King made 10-of-13 free throws and also had four assists.
Samson (32-1) has lost only two games in the past two seasons.
Kala Bess had 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Tigers, who led 40-26 at halftime. Kaylee Clark scored 10 points.
Desiree Heard starred for Reeltown (25-7), collecting 21 points and 14 rebounds. Shaina O'Neal scored 19 points.
