Jones, Upchurch status uncertain for 'Bama

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - The injury list is getting long for No.
4 Alabama's game with North Texas.

Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban said Monday tailback Roy Upchurch
and wide receiver Julio Jones are day-to-day, and their status is
uncertain for Saturday's game.

Upchurch sustained a high ankle sprain early in his first career
start. Saban said it could take a few days or a few weeks for him
to get back.

Jones has a bruised right knee but tests found no significant
damage, Saban said.

He said redshirt freshman linebacker Damion Square is out for
the season with a torn knee ligament.

North Texas coach Todd Dodge said his son and quarterback Riley
Dodge will miss the game with a separated shoulder. Nathan Tune
will start.
