Auburn Leads SEC in Rushing Offense

AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Auburn's offense is off to a promising start
after struggling last season.

Tailback Ben Tate and Onterio McCalebb are the Southeastern
Conference's top two rushers and rank among the nation's top eight
after Saturday night's 49-24 win over Mississippi State.

The Tigers are leading the league and rank behind only Air Force
nationally in rushing offense.

Tate and McCalebb have each run for 100-plus yards in consecutive games, a first in Auburn history.

Auburn has also been effective running the Wildcat offense. Kodi
Burns ran for three short touchdowns in the game and also had a
touchdown pass.

A bigger test is upcoming when West Virginia visits.
