Higgenbotham transfers to South Alabama

MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - Linebacker Charlie Higgenbotham has
transferred to South Alabama after three years at the University of

Jaguar coach Joey Jones announced the latest addition to the
roster of the first-year program on Wednesday.

The team has also added quarterback Brennan Sim from Oregon
State and running back Brandon Ross from Memphis.

Higgenbotham played in 24 games the past two seasons and had 16
tackles. He redshirted in the 2006 season and has two years of
eligibility remaining.

He played for Jones at Mountain Brook High School.
