Tebow, Spikes, Berry top All-SEC ballots

HOOVER, Ala. (AP) - Florida quarterback Tim Tebow, linebacker Brandon Spikes and Tennessee safety Eric Berry were the leading vote getters on the preseason All-Southeastern Conference teams.

The Florida teammates each received 61 votes, one fewer than Berry in balloting by media covering SEC media days, which was released Friday by the league.

There were 64 voters.

The Gators led the way with eight first-team picks, followed by Alabama with six. Florida had 12 players make either the first- or second-team.
