AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Auburn players say there's no mistaking
coach Gene Chizik is serious about discipline on the team.
Quarterback Neil Caudle said there are no gray areas in rules
for the Tigers. He and other players say several reserves have been
dismissed for violating team rules.
Auburn hasn't identified those players, but the message was
Chizik said he strives for fairness in handling issues with
players, giving warnings and other punishments before taking more
extreme steps. He said that encompasses everything from attending
class to practice habits. Chizik said if players refuse to
cooperate, they won't get to stick around.
