Auburn Gets New Hoops Assistant

AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Auburn basketball coach Jeff Lebo his hired former South Carolina assistant Ken Potosnak.

Potosnak, whose hiring was announced Tuesday, spent three years
with the Gamecocks under Dave Odom after eight seasons with Furman.
Lebo praised his new hire's recruiting contacts in the Southeast
and nationally.

He helped bring a top 20 recruiting class to South Carolina that
included All-SEC guard Devan Downey.

He also landed future Auburn star Quan Prowell while at Furman,
where he signed several other all-Southern Conference selections

Potosnak began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at
Wake Forest then spent five years as an assistant with The Citadel.
