AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Former Daphne quarterback Robert Cooper
won't have to wait for a scholarship from Auburn after all.
Cooper had signed with the Tigers but had not been expected to
formally join the team as a scholarship player until after the fall semester.
Academic casualties made a scholarship available for Cooper immediately.
He'll be one of three new quarterbacks for the Tigers, joining Leroy's Clint Moseley and Tyrik Rollison of Texas.
Cooper expects to arrive in Auburn on June 21.
