BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Alabama utility man Brandon May has been
named the Southeastern Conference baseball player of the week.
May homered twice and drove in 12 runs in helping the Crimson
Tide win all three games last week. He had nine hits and scored six
times as well.
Alabama won both games at Mississippi State over the weekend and
also beat South Alabama.
May has started 44 games at five different positions.
The Tide's Kent Matthes has won the weekly award twice this
