AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Auburn produced a handful of big plays in
the debut of Gus Malzahn's no-huddle offense.

Ben Tate rushed for two touchdowns while Onterio McCalebb and
receiver Terrell Zachery each scored on 70-yard runs in Saturday's
A-Day spring game at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Quarterbacks Neil Caudle and Kodi Burns alternated series on
offense in their battle for the starting job, which will continue
into fall camp. Caudle threw touchdown passes of 4 yards to Mario
Fannin and 34 yards to Darvin Adams.

The Tigers were without a number of players, including
quarterback Barrett Trotter. Trotter sustained a torn knee ligament
in Thursday's practice.

The game pitted the first-team offense against the second-team
defense much of the time. The offense won 57-31.
