Barbour Co. Jags at State

The State Basketball Tournament tipped off Tuesday in Birmingham. Both Barbour County Jaguars teams were in action.

The guys have had a great campaign so far, but they’re chasing that ring. Barbour County was taking on Sand Rock in Today's Class 2A State Semifinal.

The Jags roll to the 75-26 win. Devondric Richardson led the way with 22 points. Robert Lampley added 12.

B.C. takes on R.C. Hatch Thursday at 6:00 p.m. with the 2A title on the line.

Meanwhile, the Barbour County girls' season ends today. The Lady Jags came up short against Ider 54-41. Sharita Grey and Nicole Brooks scored 15 points a piece in the loss.

Barbour County ends the year at 24-4.
