Four-star offensive lineman Ross Pierschbacher is leaving his home state of Iowa to join the Alabama Crimson Tide. Pierschbacher announced his decommitment from Iowa and commitment to the Tide via a press release on Sunday. He had been committed to the Hawkeyes since January.
Pierschbacher becomes Alabama's 18 commit to the class of 2014, the fifth offensive line commit. According to the 247Composite rankings, he's rated the No. 5 offensive tackle prospect in the nation.
