TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - DeWanna Bonner had 18 points and nine
rebounds to help No. 6 Auburn coast to an 81-54 victory over Alabama on Sunday.
Whitney Boddie added 12 points and 12 assists for the Tigers (23-1, 8-1 Southeastern Conference), who led by 26 points at halftime. Sherell Hobbs scored 16 points.
Tierney Jenkins led Alabama (12-12, 0-9) with 13 points and seven rebounds. The Tigers outrebounded the Crimson Tide 51-29. Auburn has won 12 of the last 13 meetings against its in-state rival. The Tide, meanwhile, has dropped 22 consecutive SEC games.
The Tigers held Alabama to only two field goals over the final 12 minutes of the first half for a 47-21 lead.
