TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - Florida State's star pass rusher,
Everette Brown, is leaving school a year early to enter the NFL
draft.

The school announced Brown's decision Wednesday.

Brown, 21, led the Atlantic Coast Conference in sacks and
tackles for loss in the 2008 season. He was a near-unanimous pick
for the all conference team and a second-team All American pick by
The Associated Press.

A 6-3, 245-pound redshirt junior from Stantonsburg, N.C., Brown
finished his Florida State career second in tackles for loss with
46 and his 23 career sacks were fifth best.

Brown's departure leaves the Seminoles without either starting
defensive end. Neefy Moffett, a senior, had 11 tackles for loss and
5.5 sacks.
