TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Alabama's 2009 football season will
feature a neutral site game with Virginia Tech and visits from
Tennessee and LSU.
The Crimson Tide released its schedule on Friday. Alabama and
Virginia Tech will open the season on Sept. 5 at the Georgia Dome
Other nonconference opponents include Florida International,
North Texas and Tennessee-Chattanooga.
The season will mark the third straight that Alabama has played
a marquee opponent on a neutral site. The Tide faced Clemson in
Atlanta this season and Florida State in Jacksonville, Fla., two
