ASU Beats Tuskegee

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Alabama State University defeated Tuskegee 17-13 in the Turkey Day Classic Thursday, handing the Golden Tigers their first loss in 26 games.

The Hornets (3-8) kept Tuskegee from having a second straight undefeated season and rewriting the record book for the most consecutive wins in school history.

The Golden Tigers held the country's longest winning streak and had not lost a game since Oct. 28, 2006.

Alabama State's win in the annual meeting comes after four straight losses in the Thanksgiving Day matchup between the bitter in-state rivals.
