Iron Bowl Goes Global

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - U.S. troops overseas will get a chance
to watch the annual gridiron grudge match known as the Iron Bowl,
courtesy of the Armed Forces Network.

U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions made the announcement Wednesday.

The Mobile Republican said he received numerous requests from
Alabama troops, including members of the Alabama Air National
Guard's 1178th Air Refueling Wing. The unit is currently deployed
in Kyrgyztan.

The Alabama-Auburn game will be played Nov. 29. The game will
also be televised nationally by CBS. Kickoff is 2:30 p.m. CST.
