JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Linebacker Mike Peterson is back with the Jaguars after being sent home and not practicing for two straight days.
But coach Jack Del Rio says Peterson's status for tomorrow's game at Detroit is "to be determined." The team's leading tackler and emotional leader met with Del Rio yesterday morning and rejoined the team for meetings and practice.
Del Rio sent Peterson home Wednesday as punishment for speaking
out during a team meeting. According to teammates, Del Rio called out Peterson for his muscle-flexing celebration at Cincinnati. He was upset that Peterson was reveling in a play in a game the Jaguars trailed 21-3.
