BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Georgia tailback Knowshon Moreno has been named Southeastern Conference offensive player of the week.

Defensive honors went to Bulldogs linebacker Darryl Gamble while special teams player of the week was Florida's Jeff Demps.
Moreno gained 163 yards in Georgia's win over LSU, including a
68-yard touchdown run. Gamble tied Georgia and SEC records after returning a pair of interceptions for touchdowns. He also had a career-high 13 tackles.

Demps had a blocked punt to set up a touchdown in Florida's win over Kentucky and led the Gators in rushing and receiving. Offensive lineman of the week was Mississippi State's J.C. Brignone while defensive line honors went to Ole Miss's Jeria Perry. Alabama receiver Julio Jones was freshman of the week.
