ATLANTA (AP) - Georgia coach Mark Richt is still trying to deal
with the Bulldogs' long list of season-ending injuries, a day after
announcing that backup linebacker Akeem Hebron suffered a fracture
dislocation of the left ankle.
Hebron is the eighth player to suffer a season-ending injury for
No. 9 Georgia, which plays at No. 11 LSU on Saturday. Richt says he
wouldn't know how to compare this season's run of injuries with
another year.
Richt says he has to avoid dwelling on the injuries and instead
think about who's going to replace the player who has been lost.
