Cats Hope to Topple Tide

LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky coach Rich Brooks says the
Wildcats don't have to dig too far into the history books to
remember the last time they shocked a Top 5 team.

Brooks said Tuesday he considers Saturday's game at No. 2
Alabama on par with LSU's visit to Commonwealth Stadium last year.
The Wildcats won that game in overtime. Brooks said like LSU,
Alabama tries to bloody your nose and run the ball down your
throat.

The game will be a major adjustment for the Kentucky defense,
which has played mostly against the spread offense this season, not
Alabama's more traditional scheme.

Brooks said that he felt the Alabama defense was also strong and
compared it to the defense the Wildcats squared off against at
Louisville in the first game of the season.
