TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Alabama tailback Glen Coffee hasn't just
proven to fans that he can break big runs. He has also convinced

Coffee has a 51-yard run and an 87-yarder in the past two games.
He set a school record by averaging more than 16 yards a carry for
the Crimson Tide against Arkansas.

Coffee takes his hot streak to No. 3 Georgia Saturday. His career has been slowed by two knee surgeries, a sports hernia and a suspension for violating NCAA rules regarding textbooks.

Coffee now ranks third in the Southeastern Conference in
rushing. Teammates say he has shown more speed and patience in
reading his blocks.
