EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) - Michigan State's pass defense will get an early season test this weekend against Florida Atlantic.
The Spartans haven't had much success pressuring the quarterback so far this season, getting three sacks in their first two games. But the secondary has played fairly well.
Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio said Tuesday that consistent play on defense will be a key against Florida Atlantic's passing attack.
Both Michigan State and Florida Atlantic are 1-1 headed into Saturday's game at Spartan Stadium.
