Mum's the Word on Seminole Starter

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - Bobby Bowden says he knows who his starting quarterback will be for Florida State's season opener Saturday, but he's not telling. At least not for a while.

Bowden's anointed successor, offensive coordinator Jimbo Fisher, told Bowden on Wednesday that he's decided on who will open Saturday's game against Western Carolina. Bowden has said all summer that the quarterback decision would be Fisher's.

Senior Drew Weatherford has started 33 games for the Seminoles, while sophomores Christian Ponder and D'Vontrey Richardson have yet
to start their first game.
