TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - John Parker Wilson has high hopes for his final season at Alabama.

The Crimson Tide quarterback will almost certainly leave with most of No. 24 Alabama's career passing records, but he has also been prone to making mistakes and poor decisions.

Wilson's teammates are predicting a big senior season for Wilson. The Tide opens Saturday night against ninth-ranked Clemson in Atlanta's Georgia Dome.

Center Antoine Caldwell thinks his quarterback will have a breakout season.

Wilson is playing for his third offensive coordinator at Alabama.

He has started 26 consecutive games for the Tide and has the top two single-season passing performances in school history.
