Our countdown to kickoff caravan makes a stop in Coffee County. Let's check in with the Zion Chapel Rebels out in Jack, Alabama.
The Rebels are trying to rebound from last year's 2-8 showing. But, it won't be an easy task for Thomas Boswell's rebels. Zion Chapel is moving up to Class 2A this season. That means road trips to Keith, R.C. Hatch and Highland Home.
Coach Boswell says his team is aware of the challenge.
"It's going to be tough,” Boswell said. “We have some hard working guys. But, we're a little low on numbers this year. But, we've got some guys working hard and I think we’ll be fine."
Zion Chapel opens up with a home game against New Brockton on August 29.
