Alabama's Cody Turns Heads with Massive Size, Surprising Athleticism

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Alabama defensive lineman Terrence Cody is making a push for playing time.

Coach Nick Saban says the huge junior college transfer has been making an impact in the middle of the defense, especially on running plays.

Cody is listed as 6-foot-5 395 pounds. Saban says he's now down in the 365 range.

Cody arrived at Alabama from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and quickly turned heads at Alabama as the only junior college transfer in the signing class.

His teammates say Cody has impressed with both his size and athleticism.
