ROBERTSDALE, Ala. (AP) - Former Alabama and NFL star Kenny Stabler's scheduled court appearance Wednesday on a drunken driving
charge has been postponed until Oct. 22.
The Press-Register reported that details on the reason for the postponement weren't immediately available from the Robertsdale municipal court clerk's office.
Stabler was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after being stopped shortly after midnight June 8 on Alabma 59.
Stabler, who was granted a leave of absence from his role as a color analyst on Alabama football game broadcasts this season, has said he looks forward to having his day in court.
