Cubs Beat Braves 10-2 for Sixth Straight Road Win

ATLANTA (AP) - Geovanny Soto and Jim Edmonds homered, and the Chicago Cubs routed the Atlanta Braves 10-2 Wednesday in the opener
of a day-night doubleheader.

By stretching a road winning streak to six for the first time since May 17-June 2, 2005, the NL Central leaders improved their road record to 27-30. The Cubs swept three games from the Braves at home from June 10-12 and have outscored Atlanta 30-11 this season.

Former Brave Jason Marquis picked up the win for the Cubs. Charlie Morton took the loss. Omar Infante had three hits and an RBI for the Braves.
