Crimson Tide fans turned out in full force Thursday for the 26th Annual Bama Day festivities. The Houston-Henry County Chapter of the Alabama Alumni Association hosted the event out at the Dothan Convention Center.
The association has raised over $500,000 dollars for scholarships over the years. Former Alabama running back Bobby Humphrey was the keynote speaker. The former NFL All-Pro rallied support for the fundraiser.
Humphrey says he's glad to do his part for the kids and to get together with the Crimson Tide faithful. “It’s always a joy to still be considered a hero and a legend. Although, my days at Alabama have been far-gone. However, people still respect the fact of what I did there.”
